What are Zip Tie?

Zip ties, also known as cable ties or tie wraps, are fasteners used to securely bundle items together or to fasten them to a structure. They are typically made of nylon and consist of flexible tape with teeth that can be threaded through a ratchet-style locking mechanism in the head of the tie. Once the desired tightness is achieved, the excess length of the tie is trimmed off, leaving a neat and secure bundle.

Zip ties are commonly used in various applications such as organizing cables, securing bags or packages, fastening temporary repairs, and even in industrial and automotive settings for securing components during transportation or assembly. They are inexpensive, easy to use, and provide a quick and efficient solution for securing items in place.
