What are Fork Terminals or Spade Connectors?
Spade terminals (also referred to as ‘fork terminals’ or ‘split ring’ terminals) are used when a an equipment has two inputs for voltage or current and a single wire is to be connected to the stud or screw type input of electrical point. Here, the shape of the terminal, similar to a fork, allows it to be quickly fixed or removed without the terminal point having to be unscrewed completely.
This enable a clean connection. These terminal have two types , male and female. KableKonnect Terminals are only available in male type.
