Control and automation application processes need a fuse protection facility for safe and reliable operation. Elmex fuse terminals have built-in safety fuse levers. The fuse holders are made of special grade phosphor bronze, offering low contact resistance. Glass cartridge fuse of 5 mm x 20 mm, 5 mm x 25 mm or 6 mm x 32 mm size are accommodated in the Terminal blocks. A solid brass link type DL4 in place of the fuse makes it possible to use it as a disconnection type terminal block. This enables it to just occupy the space of one terminal block but work as a pair of terminal blocks i.e. – an upper level with fuse protection. One particular pair of signals can be assigned by one terminal. The provision of an LED is made to indicate a blown-fuse. Standard operating voltages : D1=24 VDC, D48 VDC, D3=110 VDC, D4=220 VDC, D5=12 VDC, A1=110 VAC and A2=240 VAC.
